Born into an Austrian family, which ranks among the more aristocratic ones from that particular nationality, Alex already had quite the legacy to live up to. He was born to Diane Von Furstenberg who started the famous Von Furstenberg studio. Compared to his legacy from his family’s end, Alex had quite the humble beginning. After obtaining a simple graduate degree from Brown University, Alex began working with Allen and Company as a trader. Here onwards it was all about living up to his inherent potential, which he did subsequently, and with some class.

Alex Von Furstenberg stepped in to take over at the Diane Von Furstenberg Studio. At the time, the company was in decline and was faltering with regards to its revenue. It was not long before the fortunes of the studio were revived. The globally acknowledged studio saw an increase in revenue to the tune of 200 times the revenue that was raked in just before Alex’s arrival at the studio’s management setup. With hard work and determination, Alex restored the Studio’s legacy to its former glory. Here onwards, it was all about his management ability as he was also appointed Chief Investment Officer at Arrow Capital Management Group. He also holds similar positions amongst the board members of Stewart and Co and also with IAC, the latter being an internet Conglomerate based in the United States.

Alex Von Furstenberg has also consistently given back to the society that helped him realize his potential as an Investment Strategist. He is known to be a key member of the “Friends of the High Line” initiative, an attempt to preserve the Highline Public Park in Manhattan. He also holds a position in the Diller-Von Furstenberg foundation, which works for social causes and helps people out in its own special way. In short, Alex is every bit the man he was born to be. One has to believe that it is the calling of one’s talent, which takes them to the heights of success, where Alex seems to be right at the top.
